Keen to learn more about beer tasting? As part of Tasting Australia, The Suburban Brew have teamed up with Flavour Logic to create a relaxing afternoon of sensory exploration. Join our brewers and Certified Cicerone Briony Liebich from Flavour Logic for detailed insights into the brews, how we use our senses, and the reasons behind beer and food pairings. There is something for everyone whether you are curious about beer or a serious beer lover. Session starts at 4:00pm and will take approximately 90 minutes. Ticket includes: Schooner and share Garlic Pizza on arrival 200mL tasting glasses of 3 different beers 3 pizza pairings Sensory games Discussions with business owner/head brewer about the brewing process Insights into beer and food pairing You are welcome to extend your stay for more food and drinks. A bit about Briony: Briony is a highly regarded expert for all things sensory based in Adelaide, South Australia. Her passion for quality drinks started in her family’s boutique winery in Barossa Valley. She has worked in wine and beer laboratories and led the sensory program at West End Brewery where she developed her love of beer. Briony has also judged Australia's biggest beer competitions including the World Beer Cup. As a Certified Cicerone®, and certified WSET wine and beer educator, Briony shares her expertise with consumers and industry alike. She founded Flavour Logic to enhance product quality and beverage education and inspire people to appreciate the sensory world.
